Join Tassneem’s first solo art exhibition, FADA’: Exploring the Cosmos Through Art at the Satellite Project Space.

'FADA', derived from the Arabic term for outer space, is an evocative artistic exploration of the cosmos. It represents my enduring passion for the celestial unknown, expressed through the language of art.

Drawing from an innate curiosity for the mysteries that govern our universe, I turn to the medium of painting to translate the principles of physics and the magnificence of astronomy into visual narratives that resonate across cultural and linguistic barriers. Art, for me, serves as a potent conduit, a way to articulate that which words often fail to express. This exhibition is a bridge between science and the abstract, a dance between the known and the conjectural, converging in a space. It is where I endeavor to tell my own cosmic story and invite you, the viewer, to become an active participant in this interstellar dialogue.

Through each piece, concepts traditionally confined to the realms of physics and astronomy unravel in rich layers of color and texture. I use my brush to pull at strings of our understanding of the universe, to ignite a renewed sense of wonder for the great cosmic ballet that unfolds above us each night. The artworks echo the immensity of space, the beauty of its silence, its ungraspable scale, and the mysteries that it harbors.

FADA’ is not just an art exhibition, but a celebration of our shared curiosity, our collective journey towards understanding the universe. Through art, I aim to bring together disparate worlds, people, and disciplines, stitching them into a single tapestry of shared appreciation for the sciences and the mystery they strive to decode.
